Josh and Destiney's "Simple Man" Wedding - Haverhill, MA

Josh and Destiney are beyond perfect for each other. From their taste in music, way the dress, to their hearts for each other and love of family - they are a perfect couple. Ryan and I had the pleasure of being a part of their biggest day. Ryan officiated the wedding, because as Josh teased "He promised he'd get Pastor Ryan to 'marry' him." Well, he did in fact "marry him" and I was so excited to photograph all the details and watch the day unfold. They wanted a simple wedding, focused on them and union to become one family. It was a small guest list, but everyone there just loved these two! The guest of honor was their 1 year old, Dallas. He was just perfect! (You'll see lots of pictures of him! I couldn't resist!) Destiney and her sister-in-law Kimberly did all the hair and make up; pin-up style! JUST BEAUTIFUL! Josh had his brother's stand by his side - what handsome guys! The ceremony included vows that Josh and Destiney wrote. They were surprisingly similar, which made it even more sweet! There is so much love between them.

The "S" Wedding - Martha's Vineyard, MA

June 22, 2013 I had the please to photograph a dear friend's wedding. It also happened to be a dear friend's son's wedding. Yes, the mother of the groom and the bride are best friends and my friends! It was a truly beautiful experience. I enjoyed the whole weekend, visiting the Vineyard for the first time and sharing some quality time with people I enjoy being with. I brought my friend Jen along for the ride.

The groom's father grew up on the Vineyard and now owns a home there, where the family vacations and rents. The bride and groom fell in love on this beautiful island and wanted to share this magical place with all their closets friends and family members.

I actually was tearing up at this part, because I have three boys and know someday this will be my future. Evan's mother is such a sweet mom to them and loves her boys so much. She has been an great example to me of motherhood.

Zury was so happy, beautiful, and definitely THE MOST ORGANIZED BRIDE EVER!

The ceremony was lovely, overlooking the water with the sailing camp below.
